Reading Class - Interpreting

We need to interpreting writers points of view, attitudes or intentions.

We do the interpreting base on music, ‘Pink – Family Portrait’, and base on advertisement ‘Raya’ by PETRONAS.

Plus, we got group assignment on that night, we need to find an article and an advertising on the paper that been given by Miss Zu. So, we pick article about Plastic and advertising of Yun Nam Hair Care. The group assignment need to be done on that night.

Presentation Essay

On 4/4 I dint come to class, so Miss Zu ask every group to do some essay. Continue the introduction essay that we had done before. So, ours was base on rhetorical essay. Unfortunately, Ina & Ummul dint come, so, we couldn’t present ours. Miss Zu was very mad at me cuz I dint make any copy from Ina, she said, all of the group members should have the copy of their essay. Then I just realize that I should do that, I’m so sorry. I really dint think of making any copy. I wasn’t not in my mind.

So, Miss Zu gave us assignment do argumentative essay and send to her at our next class where, it is tomorrow night.

Making Inference & Prediction

This night was funn =D we need to make Inference & making Prediction on something. That night, Miss Zu played Bruno Mars Song, title ‘Grenade’. We need to predict want will happen after Bruno Mars see his girlfriend kissing with other guy at her home while actually he was coming to entertain his girl.

Other than that, Miss Zu also played the movie of ‘Toy Story 3’ same like the song, we need to predict what happen, not just that, Miss Zu also played Movie of “A Walk To Be Remember”.. 

We need to guess, guess, guess =D we do all this by group. It was a fun thing to learn. Miss Zu really know how to make the learning process to be fun =) Thanks a lot Miss Zu..

Presentation Our Introductions

On the evening, every group present their introduction. But my group wasn’t that good, cuz we find the info by internet, so our introduction a bit messy. It’s not match with each other. But overall, all group done present their introduction.

Learn About Introduction Of Writing

On this day, Miss Zu explains how to do introduction of writing.

In the slide there are few question & answer that you all should now too..

1)      What is the purpose of the introductory paragraph?

·         Get the reader’s attention

·         Set tone for the rest of the essay

·         Make a contract with the reader - what will be covered in this piece?

2)      The Parts of the Introductory Paragraph

·         The Hook - Designed to grab attention immediately and give some indication about the essay’s topic

·         The Transition - Moves the reader from the hook to the driving force of the essay….

·         The Thesis - Makes the contract with the reader about what will be discussed without a blatant announcement.

Miss Zu said in her slide,

“Even though the reader will read the hook first, you actually write the thesis statement first! On a separate piece of paper, write the thesis statement. Then read over the thesis and generate a hook that will grab the reader’s attention. Finally, transition to the thesis and recopy the thesis statement as the last sentence in the paragraph.” =D

Miss Zu form us 7 group consist of 5 people to do the introduction by The Hook + with Transition and Thesis statement. My group get Hook of Rhetorical question. On the evening we need to present our introduction.

Fact @ Opinion

  (Make an Advertising about Product Carrie)

Heyy, what ups guys. Today I learn about ‘FACT & OPINION’. In the class, we need to be divided by 5 people in a group. My team is the 4^th group. We need to do some advertising by Fact & Opinion of the product.. So, my group need to advertising product Carrie.. This night was the every noisy night I had ever been through.. People screaming n shouted. Ohh Gosh, I can’t believe this.. =P But overall it was a fun night. =) everybody was enjoyed the day.. Not to be forget, thanks to Miss Zu who did all the fun activity.. THANKS A LOT Miss Zu.. =)

Presentation ADVERB & VERB

 Hello =D  Having a nice day today ? hope you will. For this post I want to tell you about BEL 260 presentation.. Like always, the first thing, I need to tell you who is the group member.. The group member for today presentation is Ain, Hani & Tengku.. I forgot the name of Ain’s presentation partner.. hee =) Sorry..

 The title of Ain & her partner is ADVERB  : ~

I will tell you roughly.. it was a simple slide.. in order to attract us to be focus on them, they offer us some CANDY if we can answer the question that they been given. Niceeee… I like.. it really attract us.. hee.. and the presenter was excited while they doing the presentation..

 Second Presentation is VERB, present by Hani & Tengku :~

I had nothing much to say.. But they explain it well to us about the VERB. =) Plus, they have canny too.. hehe.. Candy to attract us same as what Ain & her partner do =D

So, conclusion, the group had made a new way to attract their audient, and it effectively give an affect to us.. =) So, thanks for the knowledge & the CANDY too.. hee =D

We need to do poem about our best friend through their name.. So, of cause I will be pair with Ina Buncit =) here the Poem that I had made,,

A = Adorable, is a thing that you could see when you look at her.

I = Insane, is not her but sometime she is crazy.

S = Self-Assured, can be seen the way she wear a fancy thing.

Y = Young. She is young but not childish.

A = Attractive. She so attractive when she is stylish.

H = Honest. She is honest whether she want or doesn’t want on something.

F = Faithful. She is faithful with her boyfriend.

A = Agreeable is not her, she will not agree on the thing that she doesn’t like.

R = Responsible person. She is being responsible with her work.

I = Intelligent. She is intelligent then me on subject Accounting.

N = Noisy is the thing that she always do when she at her room.

A = Aggressive. She will be aggressive when she excited.

Aisyah Farina, you are the best and craziest person I ever meet and I would like to be friend with you until the end of my life. =)

P/S : Actually the time that been given is not enough to really describe Aisyah Farina. hee.. =P

Weee.. Hello Readers, today I going to do free writing.. Waitt ! What a free writing? Feel free to write anything.. we can write anything without have a title or specific subject to say about it . I am going to write about anything without thinking a lot first. Same like now, I just type in all the word that that exist in my head.. hee.. Today was Saturday, nice day, I have a lot thing I want to do today, but, I just don’t think that I will do all the things because I’m just too lazy.. Hahaha.. Presentation CONJUCTION & PREPOSITION

Hello peeps =D  For this post I want to tell you about My BEL 260 presentation.. The first thing, I need to tell you my group member is Aishah Farina, Ummul Najja, Aini & Tasya (me) hee =)

The title of me & Aini presentation is Conjunctions  : ~

I present this slide with Aini.. So, together we try to explain about conjunction to our class, we understand what we need to present, but we dint not know how to explain back to them.. gee.. So, we try to explain them through the slide.. Actually, we had prepare 2 type of slide in case if they still don’t understand by what we trying to explain.. But in the end, we just present 1 type of slide only because, they got the point of what we had trying to explain.. SO, it cool man =D Actually, I feels awkward and I bit shy with to do the presentation, but I need to pretend that I am not, so, I can that in front of them n explain it nicely.. HAHA.. What a lame I am.. =P but shhttt.. heyy, it wasn’t that bad.. gee.. I’m cool now =D I relief that I had done my part.. sorry to who can’t understand my presentation =P

Second Presentation is Preposition, present by Aisyah Farina & Ummul Najja :~

Ina & Ummul explain it nicely.. As you can see, Ina use ‘love art’ as her first Preposition slide.. hehee, as you were told by me, Ina really like ‘love art’ =D Plus, other than that,  they also have video for preposition.. which is different from others =) same goes to conjunction also, but, their video much attractive =) over all, you could see that they also nervous while present the slide.. we all do =P

Presentation PRONOUN & DETERMINER

On 24/1/2011.. I learn about PRONOUN & DETERMINER..  Its presentation by Asyraf n his friend.. Sorry I couldn’t remember all the name, like always, hee  =P  Okay,, I continue ~~

First of all, I want to tell about PRONOUNs Presentation..

-           The presentation was very quiet, the presenter is a bit shy, the student was like whispering to each other in order to ask.. hee, I bit funny to me.. =P Overall the presenter explain it to us until us become understand with it =D

Second is about DETERMINER presentation..

-           Not really good on the explanation, they more to read the slide.. But, what make me attractive with the blog is because, the wallpaper of the slide look NICE ! heee.. Nice because not many use simple design like that.. =)

Conclusion, all of the group member do the great job because they try to do the best.. Doesn’t we to? Just for information, nobody perfect, so, accept the one without put a complain, but put a compliment with some advise =P Okay.. That all.. Take care reader =D

Presentation Noun & Adjective

Last few days, on 12/1/2011.. I learn about NOUNs and ADJECTiVE.. Its presentation by Hawa’s Group. Hee,, sorry guys, I actually dint really remember all the group name.. I remember Hawa names because Miss Zu always called her name. =P  Okey,, I continue ~~

First of all, I want to tell about NOUNs Presentation..

- The slide easy to understand.

- Good presenter , they prepare it very well.

- I can understand.

Second about ADJECTiVE presentation..

- Not really understand, maybe because I am not really focus.

- After I ask the copy, I become understand.

Conclusion here, all of the group member do the great job as a first presenter. Just for information,, before this I had been a first presenter and I receive a lot of negative comment, hee.. It’s because I dint know how to do it.. haha.. pity me =P okey.. that all.. take care reader =D
